How do I know which modelling category to enter for the Australian Supermodel of the Year Program/ Competition?
We have divided the categories on the basis of how the fashion, advertising and modelling industry looks at hiring talent. This categorisation is to help you understand and pick a niche based on your interests and strengths, and to possibly help you get noticed and established easily.
There are 4 main categories. And 5 sub-categories. It is important that you chose one main category to compete.
Our Main Categories:
1. Runway/ Catwalk
2. Editorial/ Fashion
3. Commercial/ Advertising
4. Social/ Influencer
Some of you may also chose a sub-category that better represents you and helps you connect and network with like-minded people.
Sub-Categories for 2023:
1. Curve
2. Petite
3. Fitness
4. Street
5. Modest
We are introducing a new and very important category this year. And will share details in the next couple of days.

After your application is submitted, we will review your application, and you will be able to move to a different category if required. So it is okay if you are unsure of a category at this stage as long as you believe in our vision and in our values.
